The Question That Changed My Life

"I’d like to share with you what changed my life decades ago. I was in my late 20s when I started to reflect on my life and realized I wanted to broaden my horizons.  I read multiple books, but one stood out.  And, that was Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl.  What I gleaned from the book was a question:, ‘If I were 80 years old and looking back on my life, what would I want to see?’ That one question shaped many of my life decisions—what I pursued, what I let go of, and how I spent my time. I wasn’t chasing someone else’s definition of success—I was building a life I’d be proud to look back on."

"Now, at 85, I can tell you—I have very few regrets. I’m content, I’m grateful, and I feel like I lived a purposeful life. And that’s what I want to help you do. Not just plan your to-do list—but plan your life, from the inside out."

"You don’t have to wait until you’re older to have wisdom. You just need the right tools and questions. And this system I’ve developed is my way of passing that on—so you can start building a meaningful life right now, while you have the energy, time, and possibility in front of you."

Benefits of Living a Meaningful Life

  • I’ve lived my life my way, guided by my values and preferences. Living this way has given me the courage to “not always follow the crowd,” even if it means risking ostracism or being made fun of!

  • Learning from others… whether you agree or not… can be inspiring and very helpful.

  • Turn your dreams and desires into reality.

  • Perhaps one of the biggest benefits for me comes from a saying my high school English teacher shared, which I have never forgotten: “You can never give your children more than what you have!” I have repeated this many times over the years. And, it is true!

  • Minimize regrets when older.
